Each of these sets of maps offers an in-depth view of one of Montana's five regions. Portfolios include 9" x 12" collections of approximately 20 maps each. Four of the five in the series have been produced to date:

Archival research in the U.S., Canada and Europe has resulted in an extensive collection of historic maps of the region. Sally Thompson, Ph.D., and Kimberly Lugthart have reproduced some of these treasures to enhance understanding of regional history.
