From the award winning Holt Hamilton Productions comes the film that has taken the Navajo Nation by surprise, Turquoise Rose! The young and charming Turquoise Roanhorse (newcomer Natasha Kaye Johnson) turns down a once in a lifetime trip to Europe with her best friend Michelle (Bria Sherinian). This choice chases her back to the reservation where she finds herself taking care of her ailing grandmother (Ethel Begay) and in the process falls in love with a rez boy named Harry Bahe (Deshava Apachee). The beauty of the people and the land combine to make a memorable journey that will find its way into hearts across the world.

Judy says this is the slowest moving movie she has ever seen, but there is never a dull moment. It’s a great illustration of how even though Indian people move away from the rez, they hold on to the values that make them who they are. We love it.
